My name is Hannah and I’m a traditional, transparent watercolor artist painting every bird in North America. I am from Asheville, North Carolina but have lived with my husband in Ohio since 2015. I have always adored birds and an impossible task so the decision to paint all the North American birds in my signature, vaguely spooky style seemed like a natural conclusion.

I focus heavily on environmentally friendly business practices. Because of this one of the biggest decisions I have made is that I will only ever offer 10 prints of any original painting I ever create. I print each one myself, in my Ohio studio. I use pigment based inks rather than the short lived dye based alternative. I use 140lb. watercolor paper and hand embellish every single, signed and numbered print personally to make them feel as close to the original artwork from which they are derived as possible.

As of summer 2024 I officially sold out of my first bird. The Eastern Bluebird has found all 11 homes that will have the ability to display him in his incredibly limited availability.
